Things to consider:
- Rolling shutters require enough room above the opening for the hood, and room on each side for tracks
- Obstructions such as exterior lights should be considered when evaluating an opening for wall mount installation
- Decorative banding around a window or door may require special installation steps
- Lap-style siding in vinyl or wood requires special installation techniques
- Not suited for custom shapes such as arches or angles
